Privacy policy

This policy covers the Isosceles Coffee iPhone app. The site at isosceles.coffee is a static website. It does not have accounts, ads, or analytics.

Who we are

Isosceles Coffee helps you find independent specialty coffee shops in Los Angeles and Orange County. Questions about privacy go tosupport@isosceles.coffee.

The short version

We collect what the app needs to run your account and to show shops near you. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell your information.

Accounts

You can create an account with email and password, or with Sign in with Apple. We may add Google sign-in later. If we do, we will update this policy. Accounts are handled by Supabase Auth.

Information we collect

If you use the app, we may store:

• Your email address.
• Your display name.
• An avatar or photo, if you choose to add one.
• Your location while you are using the app. That can be approximate or precise, so we can show shops nearby. We do not keep a history of where you have been, unless you check in.
• Content you add: favorites, check-ins, shop suggestions, order-link suggestions, and photos.

How we use it

We use this information to create your account and sign you in, to show independent shops near you, to save the favorites and check-ins you choose, and to read suggestions you send. We also use it to reply if you email support.

Location

The app uses location only while you are using it, to show nearby shops. That location is not stored as a history. A check-in is separate. If you check in, we store that check-in with your account.

Maps

Maps are provided by Mapbox and include OpenStreetMap data. Those services receive the map request, such as the area on screen, so they can draw the map. Mapbox describes its own practices at mapbox.com/legal/privacy. OpenStreetMap describes theirs atosmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Photos and other things you add

A profile photo is optional. Photos you attach to a suggestion or a check-in are stored with your account, along with favorites, check-ins, shop suggestions, and order-link suggestions.

What we do not do

We do not show advertising. We do not use tracking tools. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' ads.

Services we use

Supabase stores accounts and the data kept with them. Mapbox draws the map. Apple handles Sign in with Apple, and the App Store if you download the app there. If we add Google sign-in, Google will process that sign-in.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Account, then Delete account. That removes your profile, your favorites, your check-ins, and your submissions, including shop suggestions, order-link suggestions, and photos you submitted.

If you cannot sign in, email support@isosceles.coffee from the address on the account and ask us to delete it.

Children

Isosceles Coffee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The date above is October 21, 2026.
